Oh Jan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess chocolate couldn't prevent this one.

You have had a no-fun very bad week!!!!!

this clears up FAST and you're back home TODAY, and more that this is IT, and even more that those test results come back with nothing wrong - and all this time, it was because you weren't taking your meds (and now you are), so you wound up in the hospital - and got stressed, which let the infection get worse... and now this is the end of it!!!!!!!!

Home again, home again....

The final diagnosis was infection - a UTI and the lab found salmonella in my stool culture. Since the treatment for both is the same antibiotic I got a couple of IV doses and sent home with an 8 day oral regimen. I'm back on my feed and the "outcome" is slowly firming up.

My blood count is much much better, too.

YAY on the blood culture, and hope those antibiotics completely finish the job!

Oh my gosh, I lost track and just discovered your further troubles... I'm so sorry, Jan! So much hitting you at once. Please be extra special good to yourself. Is someone helping you at home while you recuperate? It sounds like you really need to get some serious rest, to allow your body to build up its immune system again.

Good news!!! We have "formation"! I'd go into more detail but I'm sure y'all don't want to hear that.

I am doing fine and the kitty nurses are back to their normal selves.
