Step 1. Acquire laser pointer.
Step 2. Acquire stairs!
Step 3. They go crazy!

They're actually NOT going crazy in this video (of course, because I have the camera out)!
It's hard to me to move the laser quickly while following it with the camera, and this was also like take #347 because I kept dropping my iPhone or stumbling down a stair or two!
They also played with da Bird prior to this. So anyway, they're not quite as motivated as usual. However, rest assured that this will keep them running frantically up and down the stairs and entertain them for more than 20 minutes, and probably as long as your laser pointer battery will last!!

This is especially effective in the dark. Maybe it's just my kittens, but they have to see the laser beam to "believe" in it. So even if I still have it on, if they didn't quite catch where I moved it to and it's not in their line of sight anymore, they just think it's gone and are rooting around in the area where they "lost" it to see if it will come back!

Too cute! I loved the part where they were kind of tag teaming the laser down the stairs.
I can't get over Joni's coloring. She is so beautiful and unique.

Cute! Such pretty babies you have, too.
McGee doesn't care much for laser pointers. He prefers straws.

Thanks y'all!! This REALLY helps with our space issue because they just don't have enough room for all three of them to full-out run for longer than a quick dash between my bedroom and the living room. The stairs let them keep a decent running pace, and switch off between the three of them.

When we play in the living room, I have to let them use the couch to run up and jump over and so forth - it's leather so a few places have suffered the pain of their skids or falls, but c'est la vie in a small apartment!
