This calculator, developed by Northwestern Mutual Life, estimates your life expectancy.
There are only 13 questions, but they predict how long you're likely to live.

I'll be 89... I wonder about that, my mom's mom died at 79 and dad's mom at 81. :x Dad's dad was in his early 70s, even. ... but my mom's dad is doing great at 80, so maybe I take after him!

I got 92! I find that hard to believe, considering the fact that I have an incurable disease and have had chemo. However, those weren't the questions that were asked!

Well, I got 84, but no way that's true. My mom died at 65 and my dad at 67.

26!! That's how old I'm now! I probably messed up with the measurements because they weren't metric and I may have converted them wrong...

I got 91. I found it strange that there were no questions about diabetes or cancer. (I have neither, DH has both)

Yes I wondered too cuz I am a cancer survivor and now am diabetic and yet it says I'll be around till 85, I doubt that very much

I'll live to be 86 according to the calculator. Every single one of my great-grandparents lived to be older than 95, including one who lived to 103, and my oldest grandparents are in their late 80's. I think I have some good chances.

HA! It says 80.

So can I go to Northwest Mutual and tell them that their calculator says I'll live that long so they should give me life insurance?

According to every doctor I've seen (and I've seen plenty!) and medical study MS is generally not a cause of death or even a major contributing factor, but according to insurance companies I'm likely to keel over dead tomorrow so they won't offer life insurance - not even at astronomical prices. How stupid is that?

But hey - they say 80. I'm OK with that.

Hmmm It says 85 for me but my Mom died at 64 and my Dad at 81.
