I recently moved. Before I moved, my two cats were good about using their boxes EXCEPT once or twice a week one of them would potty on towels left on the bathroom floors. Easy enough cure by not leaving them on the floor. They were my daughter's used towels and she has recently started becoming a woman (LOL) so I figured it had to do with disliking her newer scent or something.
Anyway, we moved about a month ago and the kitties have adjusted better than I thought. Except for one thing.... one of them is getting a towel out of the plastic hamper and somehow dragging it into the litter box. This has happened 4 times now.
When we moved it was time to replace the old plastic box as they were starting to stink. I am religious about cleaning the boxes because I hate the smell. I have used the same litter since they were both kittens. The boxes are in places, tucked under some smaller tables which affords them even more privacy then they had in the old place. I just do not understand what they are doing this for.
Any ideas?
