pink nipples

Hello I am breeder of registered pedigreed bengal cats an I have question. All of my queens nipples and mentors queens have turned pink and puffy by day 21. But I have a queen that I got from a breeder who is a year old and is possibly pregnant and and farther along than that. (I believe she is 4-5 weeks) when she went in for testing about 2 weeks ago vet said she was most likely pregnant. She is getting bigger eating and drinking alot losing hair around her nipples and have gotten slightly bigger but not real big and pink like most pregnant cats. I just wanted to know if this normal and if they will come to full size later and she will be able to give milk.

I don't know the answer as I am not a breeder, but if you are a breeder shouldn't you know the answer?

may be yes, may be not. Our forum is for all to talk, ask, try to answer. Talking together we do get stronger and more knowledgeable, and together we do build up more insights and more knowledge.

The question is entirely legitime.

Good luck!

I have heard that not all females get the pink nipples, or it might just take a lot more time than 'normally'. Also can happen with false pregnancies.

Didn't the vet do an ultrasound or how come they weren't 100% sure?
