Chronic snuffles

When I first adopted charlie 1.5 years ago, he was sneezing blood and had a URI. A two month dose of antibiotics cleared it up, but since then, he has had constant snuffles, sneezes daily, and clear mucus. Lysine doesn't help the symptoms. His check ups always go well. He eats, sleeps, and is overall a happy little guy.

I just wanted to see if anyone else has this issue with their cat and whether anything has helped. Also, I wanted to know if this chronic stuffiness would have any long term effects on him so that it might affect his life span.

Is he congested or just sneezing?

I give Hannah 1/4 - 1/2 of a 10mg loratadine (Claritin) to help with her sneezes. We use the generic Wal-Mart brand. The vet recommended this and it's helped tremendously!
