Raw Recipe - Yay or Nay

I read this recipe in a book but I wasn't sure about its validity.
I shortened it down to this:

4 parts meat (with one teaspoon of powdered calcium for each pound)
1 part vegetable (types of vegetables are listed in the book)
Organic raw egg (optional)
Add enough spring water to be able to mix to a soft consistency
1 good multivitamin for cats
1/2-1 teaspoon of a mixture of yeast, kelp, lecithin, wheat bran, and bonemeal

Also for aging cats she recommends to change to 3 parts protein and 1-2 part vegetable.

I wouldn't feed this to my cats. First of all, cats don't need veggies, can't properly digest them, and it stresses their bodies to try. And this person recommends more veggies and less meat for elderly cats?

In additional, there's no liver or organs included, animal parts cats need to stay healthy.

Just my .02.

Minka, if you're looking for a good ground recipe, catinfo.org and feline-nutrition.org both have solid, balanced recipes.

Best regards!
