The floor guys are still here....and I have to take the dogs out at midday for a potty break. I usually just sit outside with them for 10 minutes and we come back inside the house.

Well, I was just doing that, and I noticed Sally sniff something across the yard from me and then roll all over it. She started to do it again, and I called her to me, thinking it was a bug, or at the most a dead baby snake or something.

It wasn't!

Sally is COATED in cat poop! Ziggy doesn't bury his when he goes in the yard and Sally decided she needed to roll on it! She reeks, and I know I have to go out there and give her a bath, a job my dh and I usually do together.

GROSS! I've had her for almost 9 years and she's never pulled such a stunt! I just hope it isn't a "new trick."

GAG GAG GAG!!!!

Thanks, Ruthy!

I got her cleaned up, and she seemed to enjoy getting wetted down with the hot temps and all. I, too, hope it's not something that becomes a habit!

I'm HOPING the floor will be done by the end of Monday. I was originally told it would take 2 days! Now I know why they are so late getting to jobs--they WAY underestimate the time it will take them. However, they are quiet, respectful workers and the floor looks fabulous.

Felix is also having a really tough time with the disruption at the house. He's crying a lot and has vomited up his meals a couple of times. It's so hard for the former ferals--takes next to nothing for them to revert back to survival mode.

EEEEEEWWWWWWWW! What goes through dogs' heads that makes them want to roll in horrible, stinky things?

Glad you get her all cleaned up though. Ick.

I'm so hoping the roof guys next week will be done by the end of the week like they said they would be... I'm already thinking they probably won't though, because they already pushed the start date back from Monday to Tuesday cos they have to finish up another job.
