The litter mates I was fostering - Cubby, Capers and Deedle - are ready for adoption and have gone back to the rescue. So, yesterday I picked up these little guys - Boo (left) and Scout. They were trapped in a feral colony a couple of weeks ago and still need socialization. Scout is still rather scared, but has made a lot of progress. Boo is quite a hissy little fellow and still spits and/or bites. Please wish me luck with these adorable little guys:

Judging by the size of their ears and paws, those are going to be two big boys! Good luck with the little cuties!!

Is Scout a female?
Gotta love the ears.
I agree; they have the potential to real sweethearts.

Scout's a male, although his name is from "To Kill a Mockingbird." There are two more male kittens in the litter, too - named Atticus and Jem. They'll be going to another foster home.

Your foster babies are soo cute!! With lots of love and patience you will be able to socialize them. I've been there and just talking to them and giving them love will win their hearts, good luck with the two gorgeous babies

Thanks, guys.
I really appreciate the encouragement. Both of my little guys are already making progress. Scout loves being held and cuddled. Boo is little Mr. Hissy, but has also purred for me, leans in for more petting and, get this, he hollers at the top of lungs for me to come back when I leave the room. Of course, when I do, he hisses again.
Anyway, it's very encouraging to see him so interested, although still rather unsure, about human contact. He's going to be a little love bug in no time.
