Good morning!

My question for you this morning is.....

I am going to give you $1,000. There is a catch. You must spend it on yourself. You may not pay any bills with the money. You may not spend the money on your cats (sorry). You must buy something frivolous for yourself only. You deserve it!

How would you spend your $1,000?

Oooooh, let me think?!.

I'd put it towards a Chanel handbag

Oh hang on!. Your exchange rate is higher than ours
If it was in the UK, another pair of Chanel sunglasses and a bottle of Coco

A new sofa bed, a new area rug and a new vacuum cleaner!
(I think I would be able to spread that $1,000 out on 3 things.)

Also a couple pretty pieces of jewelry, and I may hit up Vera Bradley, too.

A vacation to Vermont!
and if there's any left, I'd buy stuff for my house & kitchen. I've lived in my new place for more than 6 months and I'm still woefully understocked.

An iPad for sure, then probably a bunch of ebooks for my Nook, some new albums (I'm old school, I love vinyl) and speaking of which, I could really use a new turntable.

Though I don't think I could get all that for $1000...

What a HARD question!! I would spend part of it on a tattoo that I am already planning on getting in honor of my dog, Wilbur. Gosh, I never spend money on myself.
OH, I know, LOL, I would go to the spa for a day!!!!! Facial, massage, etc. And then maybe buy myself a new purse, Dooney and Burke.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
The only thing I can think of that I'd want to spend money on me for right now is several sets of new sheets.
I bet I could get some really amazing high end cotton sheets for that price!

What a fun question!

I would buy $1K worth of stoneware: plates, bowls, serving dishes from a local potter who lives on Salt Spring Island. He makes beautiful dishes in a pretty bright green with cobalt blue dragonflies... we have one big bowl and it's my favorite!

I'd want LOTS of plates for our big dinner parties (and for normal breakage). What a luxury that would be!
