Disagree with this practice

I know there is a rule here about negative site feedback. I am not meaning to break that rule in this post, but I am upset about this and wonder if other people are bothered by it too.

I recently noticed that The Cat Site is attaching it's link to youtube videos when they are shared in this forum. I don't remember reading about this practice in the forum information and permissions and agreements etc, I guess it has been added recently?

I dislike this, I do not wish to advertise to the whole world that I post in this site.

It has nothing to do with TCS. It is a new YouTube Feature:

Whoa, thanks for that. Interesting. The other forums I post in don't get their links under videos though, so TCS must have made some sort of agreement to allow it.

The other sites presumably aren't driving enough traffic to YouTube, because it says

Oh I saw that but was slow to get what it meant, thanks.

Okay so I take TCS off the hook , but I dislike this innovation of youtube and will not be so willing to post video links here anymore though I imagine it's too late now, the damage has probably already been done before I knew it was happening.

Hey Otto,

For what it is worth I do not like it either. But I sadly agree the "damage" is done so I would guess it is "okay" to post more video's ?

If you look on the right-hand side under the YouTube video you should see it.
