Cat Safe Carpet Shampoo?

I want to shampoo my carpets but everything sounds toxic for cats. What carpet shampoo does everyone here recommend?

I was hoping somebody would have some suggestions, but its something I struggle with too. I really need to clean this carpet, but I'm afraid of using the chemical stuff with the kitties running around.

Obviously I've never used it as I just found out about it - but I will say Nok Out is a fabulous cleaning product and you simply cannot beat it for odors. In fact - I use the Nok Out on the carpet for stains, hairballs & kitty vomit as it is, so this'll be a cheaper way to do it from now on.
