Morning all,

Tired, tired, tired. I did not sleep well last night at all!

Not a lot going on today really. It's rainy and gross so it'll be a nice relaxing evening after work. Hopefully I'll catch up on some reading. Hope you all have a great day!

I actually had an awesome sleep last night for once, the thunder and rain put me right out, LOVE it.

I am babysitting today and catching up on laundry since it's raining out, might as well get some work done inside. Going for a jog tonight and then off to work, that's about it for me.

I'm down 3lbs this week, WOOT WOOT!

Problems with internet today due to weather-this is third time!

Big t storm front to hit area in a few minutes good thing I got the cucumbers picked! Very humid and high dew points currently-Cold front coming in tonite.

Lunch meeting at work today. Not sure of what I will do tonite depends on weather.

Bender being a PITA on the table with me currently.

Morning All!

I was kind of cramped last night. For the second night now, Mollipop stayed with me all night. And so did Tabby! Mollipop likes to lay next to me on the outside of the bed by the bedroom door...I guess she likes to be able to see what might be going on. So I've learned to cuddle toward her and with my back to the middle of the bed. Tabby is getting to the point where she likes to lay next to my back and she'll stretch completely out and sleep that way....I can feel her weight next to me. I love having them both next to me, but I'm cramped. And then there's Ms. Pepe, who likes to lay between my legs. And I'm on my side, so I have to adjust my legs, so she has room. I don't want to move b/c I don't want to disturb any of them. But it's hard to sleep sometimes. I can't have my pillow the way I want it b/c it disturbs Mollipop. So I end up with about 1/3 of a king-sized pillow. How fair is that??

Doesn't make for a very restful night.

Anyway, not too much going on. We have to grab veggies tonight. Some of the early corn is ready to be picked. We have broccoli again. And DH found some cucumbers hiding in the vines.

Oh! Our tomatoes are ripening!!!!

We have five gorgeous red tomatoes in the fridge and two Lemon Boys, which are a beautiful shade of yellow.

Dinner tonight? Grilled corn on the cob with grilled zucchini boats, sliced tomatoes and steamed broccoli. And it's all from the garden!

Good morning

Back to being hot and gross today they said. Ugh. It's already disgustingly hot and humid in the lab! Usually it doesn't get bad until after lunch - so much for them "fixing" the AC

I'm actually hoping to feel some nice winds from Tropical Storm Emily this weekend ... it's supposed to come near the SC coast around Sunday-ish according to the news this morning.

Going to finish watching The Last Song when I get home from work. Got chicken breasts marinating in Italian dressing in the fridge for dinner tonight, yum

. Maybe there'll be some more post cards waiting for me too

I got 4 yesterday from Brazil, Poland, Russia, and the Czech Republic - I was excited haha.

Off to the city again before I have a feline mutiny on my hands - Walmart only had two 'colours' of tinned food the other day: salmon or salmon, so I bought the last 6 tins they had. After 4 days of it, I am getting dirty looks at feeding time and have had two break-ins.....er sneak-ins for the 'good stuff' the indoor kitties get (read NOT fish flavoured). I hate shopping for anything much less poking about looking to see what they have (why do they put the big cans on the bottom shelf?). Oh well, it must be done, so gonna grab a few groceries again - the good BC cherries are finally in albeit three weeks late and blueberries are starting to come in.

Hello Gang

, It's been awhile for me as things have been so busy with the family reunion. I am home now and today seems to be the first day of things getting back to normal. Tomorrow my sister will stop for the night on her way to Ohare to catch their flight home on Thursday. So I am preparing up the extra room and figuring out what to make for dinner. I think it will be my YUMMY Vegetarian Chili.

, I don't mind the heat, it is the humidity. I think dinner will just be Subway sandwiches tonight, nice and east

Hi everyone,
well its been hot,hot,hot here today,so much for the rain and thunder that they predicted.The kids have been in the pool most of the day and I've done a few chores and made most of the nice weather and tried to catch up on all my laundry.Hopefully tomorrow will be nice too and the weekend as we're having a bbq sat.Hope everyone is/has had a nice day.xx

Good afternoon... had a busy morning but I'm back home now and don't plan to go out again today. So... just some more job searching, maybe clean the floors, and sometime this week I MUST get up in the attic and bag the old insulation before we get new insulation next week when we get a new roof. It's just so gross up there. And hot. I think I'll spend tomorrow working up there. (yep, I keep saying tomorrow...

)

BF is still in Chicago til Friday, so... no real dinner plans. Probably just a sandwich with fresh veggies. And some couch potatoing tonight. Excitement in the LBC!
