Hi All. I just got back from taking Duffy to the vet for his 12-wk shots. He did so good! He didn't act up even once. No meows, no shaking in fear, in fact, he purred the whole time. He even licked the vet on the end of her nose! he's just too cute.

He weighed 4.6 pounds. We trimmed his nails, which was his first time. Didn't even have to hold onto to him for that. He stayed purrfectly still like he was getting a manicure or something.

He's scheduled to go back on 9-4 for neutering and his 16-wk shots. The vet said his weight was right for neutering right now, but I need to wait for the money.

While I was there, they brought out a tortie and white that had just been spayed ... and declawed too. Why do vets agree to do that? I know my vet doesn't approve of declawing, yet he does it anyway. Why? I think I'll ask next time I'm in there.

One word: MONEY

I would love to hear his explaination to that question. I bet he won't tell you it's about the money, but IMO I think it has a lot to do with that.

I'm glad Duffy did so well during his exam. I just wish I could say the same thing about Snowball.
HIS appointment is tomorrow.
