If you visit the health forum, you probably know that this past Wednesday, a massive tumor was found in Lazlo's stomach. Thursday it was confirmed to be lymphosarcoma. Friday we started treatment with a feline oncologist specialist.

Poor Lazlo must have been nauseous for months, as the anti-nausea medication, Cerenia, has really turned him around!

And right now, all we care about is how our baby boy feels.

Every day that Lazlo

Eats



is a good day!

Every day that Lazlo

Grooms



is a good day!

Every day that Lazlo

Feels majestic in his oh-so-Lazlo way!



is a good day!

Every day that Lazlo

is curious about something



is a good day!

Every day that Lazlo

is sick of me taking pictures

Oh Laurie, I'm so sorry I missed your other thread about Lazlo. He is such a handsome guy, what personality he has! You are SO right, too, every day with those we love is a beautiful gift!

He's having another good day! He's "bounding" places again rather than walking. He's jumping over Ming Loy rather than have her grab at him as he walks by. He's popping up the cat tree to the top shelf of the cabinet in one bounce again.

...he's also back to meowing up a storm when I call them for "dinner" (4x a day LOL). "Mommy, hurry up!"

We go for the follow-up treatment tomorrow morning at 9:30. (This is usually part of the first treatment, but wanted to give his tummy some time to repair first). This visit is closer, but still about an hour away.

A wonderful animal communicator we've used before is going to start working with Lazlo tomorrow. To us, he doesn't seem overly stressed by the traveling. But maybe through Ellen Lazlo himself will be able to shed some light on how he's feeling about all of this.

For those following this thread, we went for chemo treatment #2 today.

Lazlo gained 3 ounces since Friday, and his hematocrit zoomed to 60%. This is waaaay above normal - but not to be concerned, because it is a transition number. HIS ULCERS HAVE STOPPED BLEEDING!
