Simba Yim has a daily appointment with my Mom.
He's gotten a lot taller since we first adopted him!
He almost spills out of her lap now!
I can't tell who enjoys it more...

He was so greasy and dusty when we first adopted him in January.
We had to give him that first bath that week (which frightened him.)
But with better diet, daily brushing, and lots of love, his fur is like liquid silk!
The funny thing is he wasn't so enthusiastic about the cat brush but this hair brush is heaven.

Simba does look like he's enjoying every minute of this, but April, your mother looks so happy to be spending time with him, too. Love those pictures, esp the last one where your mom looks like she's getting ready to coo to Simba....and he's waiting for her. What a great picture!

@Mystik Spiral - I get jealous of him! I wish brushing my hair would make me feel that good!

@Winchester - Yup! She considers him as her "third child." She used to be strictly anti-cat, pro-dog before we adopted Simba! What a change! Could you believe it?
Simba adores her and looks up to her as the alpha cat of the house. (Which she is! )

@Ruthyb - Thank you

@My4LLMA - Try changing the brush! Simba didn't like the cat brush but when we changed to this human hair brush he had a complete turn around when it came to grooming time!

@cheylink - Absolutely! Also my mom is happy so 3 birds! This is one happy symbiotic relationship going on.
