A good night's work!!!

I tried to trap on Tues night and came up with nothing. But I made up for it last night. I set 5 traps and caught 0 mongoose, 1 Tom, 1 Momma and 3 very sweet and very little kittens!!! yeah!!!!

Now I have the help of the lady who is feeding the cats (where I caught 10 in two nights and my friend caught 13 in one night) and she says she has only seen 3 un-notched cats lately and we got one last night, she calls him Black Panther. I'll see about pics from this group. Yeahhhh!!! Progress!!!!!


On the flip side, my friend Barbara caught a pregnant female on Tues night and went ahead and had her spayed. She was pretty upset about it. How do you console someone who is doing what they know has to be done but still hates every second of it? Please send good vibes to her even though you don't know her...she is doing so much more than I do, she really deserves it. I just let her vent and told her how much I appreciate and admire her and that I know she did what had to be done because no one else has the courage to do it themselves. I hope that I helped.

I think what you are all doing is amazing and you should all be proud of yourselves.

Of course Barbara feels sad who wouldnt inside that cat was new life.

Tell Barbara I know how she feels. I just trapped a female feral that was pregnant and it made me cry. BUT those kittens would have had an awful life fending for themselves and fighting off disease and hunger. Barbara is saving lives!! Not taking them. I also appreciate what you all are doing for the feral cats.
