I haven't been here in a long time. Things have changed a ton for us. We moved 425 miles out to the country in a different state. The cats adjusted really well and very fast, and the boys are actually doing MUCH better here than they were in our last house.

Thomas even went from barely letting us pet him, to sitting in our laps (every once in a while) and wanting attention and pets all the time! It only took him 7 months, but he finally came out of his shell.
We love the new him.

Nora seems to prefer to stay in our master closet most of the time, sleeping on the bed we made for her, but that's okay. She and Walter have become friends, which he loves.

Walter is good, and has begun a love affair with our "Little Green Steam Machine" which is SO funny!! LOL We leave it out just for him. He sleeps with the tube ALL the time.

They all love all the bugs we have out here in the country, and put their hunting skills to good use on a daily basis.

Both boys have put on a ton of weight and look great, though Thomas is a bit chubby. We still love him.

Also...a couple weeks ago a stray cat showed up on our front porch. I started feeding her b/c she was so skinny. About a week later she showed up with her seven kittens, two older ones and five babies. We've adopted the mom, Hazel, as our own, and will be getting her spayed and finding the babies homes once they are old enough.

I think Hazel knew she'd compliment the color scheme you have going just right!

They are all so adorable but I had to laugh out loud at Nora's first pic.
Her facial expression is priceless!

Welcome back!! Glad to hear you and the cats are doing well. I can't believe how big the boys got! They're all looking great.
That's really good of you to take in the mom cat too!

Isn't that so funny??
We were using it one day and got distracted so it was left on the floor. He curled up in the tube and then started sleeping with it constantly. We had company one day so we put it away. You should have seen him! He walked around searching for it, calling and moaning. OMG it was so funny. We put it back out in the same place, and he immediately ran over to it and curled up with it. We call it "his girlfriend". haha!!

He hates having his picture taken with it, if he sees you point a camera at him he will get up and run away. LOL I usually have to get one when he's sleeping. The one of him awake I took yesterday, and I went to take another one right after that one but he ran away. Good thing it was in focus. haha

omg..... I'm laughing so hard about Walter. Great story!

Your kitties look fantastic! I agree... their coats are so shiny!

And I also agree - Hazel came and found you to be a safe haven for her family. That made my heart smile!
And she absolute fits in with the color scheme.

I love Walter and the steam machine; that is hysterical. Your pictures are wonderful and the kids are absolutely adorable. Hazel is gorgeous, too, and so are those little ones. (I love the name, Hazel, by the way. It's just perfect for her.)

Welcome back, KaraLeigh!

Thanks everyone!! We sure love them!

Isn't it funny about Hazel fitting in with the color scheme? We even said she looks like she could be Nora's sister. They are the exact same shade of grey, and they have the same voice (and are both mouthy lol). Her kittens are beyond adorable, and we are more than happy to provide them with a safe place to live.

Kara, I have always thought Thomas and Walter were gorgeous boys. And Nora is a real beauty! You are doing a wonderful thing for Hazel and her family. She is lucky you moved there and that she found you
