Anyone try these? If you've also fed EVO 95% meat foods or the "by nature" 95% meat cans, I'd be interested to see your response... My cats pretty much hated the EVO and By Nature 95% meat cans and I was wondering how these compared to those.

I'd appreciate any feedback.

Thanks!

I will occasionally feed bg to my cat but I'm not a huge fan. He seems to tire of it after half a can so I end up throwing it away. In case you aren't aware, the canned is not complete so you have to supplement with a food.that is.

The manufacturer has made changes, so the canned is complete now. Still, I have some doubts about this food. Also, mine are not crazy about it, so too much is wasted (ending up thrown away).

Same here, they eat a bit and the rest goes to the trash. Im not sure what it is about BG, I know many people who say their pets will not eat it.

I've fed the Cowboy Cookout - recommended as the closest to a mouse diet.

When I first started feeding it, Buddy loved it. Then when I purchased a new case the consistency changed from being soupy to more of a PâtÃ[emoji]169[/emoji], and he lost interest.

I was looking for a grain-free food, and the Merrick's Cowboy Cookout fit that preference. But the meat is beef, and I read that beef isn't as digestible as poultry (?).

As far as not eating all the food served - this seems to be commonplace in my experience. Even cutting back on portions doesn't work, they still seem to leave a little something behind - I think they're just trying to follow some cultural edicate that believes it's polite to leave some food in your plate when you're finished eating.

Right now I'm trying out Weruva - the chicken recipe - has a lot of gravy and is very popular with all the cats.

Thanks for your replies!

I bought 1 can (the turkey) and will see if they'll eat it. Mine often leave leftovers with any wet food...I find that If I add water to them and mix it up, they'll return and eat it, not sure why.

Thanks again!
