TGIF all!


And it's payday! HOPING to get tattoo #9 today. My brother has been really booked up lately but he told me to come in after work as the person he has booked might not show up and if that's the case, he'll get me in. Here's hoping!

Also have to go today and make the final payment on our Saint John Sea Dogs season tickets. Can't believe the first preseason game is less than a month away.

Thank you, and I absolutely will! I have posted the others before, but I'll post them all again with the new one once it's done. Sooo addictive.

Morning!

Good luck with your tat, Kailie!

We are taking Whisper to the vet tonight for a check-up. She's our CRF kitty and she just turned 17 years old a couple weeks ago. She's not doing well at all, drinking a lot of water and she's having trouble staying warm, it seems. She's eating OK, we think, but she just doesn't seem that great right now. We're hoping for some good news with her, but I don't think that's going to happen. She is BooBoo's and Ms. Pepe's mom. Rick is very worried about her and he is so much her person; those two are together all the time and she sleeps on him at night.

And that's pretty much it from here. We may have a bit of a shopping weekend, but other than that, it's just our standard weekend agenda: cleaning and outside tasks. Rick said that he'd like us to start working on those triangles around the pool; it's been so hot and humid that we don't like to work outside much during the day.

Good morning everyone...

Seven or so hours of work today, then I have to go out with a friend in the afternoon/evening... and Peanut greeted me by puking right in front of my office door. I just closed it and left the puke for DH.

Hope your Friday is better than mine so far!

Morning all!

I hate to mention this to my drought struck TCS members but we got 1.5" of rain in a very short time frame last night. Hot and of course humd all weekend. The raspberries have to be picked today!! So after work in full sun I get to do that. But I made some sangria this morning so that will be my treat!

Off to work in a few minutes. DH on vacation today and working on a shelve for our storage area since the A/C duct work eliminated at lot storage. Have to remind him to pick up the three loads of laundry handing outside.

Morning.. Happy Friday! It was cloudy earlier but sunny now. I guess it'll be pretty warm too. Nice.

Not a whole lot to do today besides some gardening, I've been slacking a bit and the roses are going nuts, so I have to prune them a bunch. I don't know the rules for pruning roses, when or how to do it, but what I've been doing the past year seems to be working because they just keep growing and blooming, on and on.

Tomorrow is a housewarming party for our friends who we used to live near, who just bought a house about a half mile from our house, so we're neighbors again! I've got some cherry tomatoes marinating in vodka and tabasco to make Bloody Mary Bites for the party, and I'm going to make a lemon cake. I'll probably bake it tonight so I don't have to rush around tomorrow. I saw signs for a big church yardsale a few blocks away, so I'd like to bike over and check that out tomorrow morning. No plans for Sunday that I know of, probably a lazy day, or maybe a day of house chores, before BF heads off to a conference in Chicago to present a technical paper.

Good evening!

One of my foster kittens, Diesel (My Little Buddy!), was adopted tonight by a wonderful couple. He was at Petsmart for only 2 days! Pretty impressive for a solid black ~4mo old kitten. He was the "life" of the display - everyone was giving him attention. I had visited him earlier on my way home, then the other 2 fosters were getting sick. On my way to the vet, they called and asked to adopt! My FIL also officially adopted Lil Bit tonight as well - just Soot & Asphalt left. They have 10 days of meds then can be put at Petsmart also. I'm so glad Diesel went to a good home, but I sure will miss the little guy. He loved his new family as well.

Going to Kentucky tomorrow to deliver my super-awesome 38ft gooseneck car trailer to someone who bought it off ebay (husband sold it), then spending the night in Nashville, TN before coming back home Sunday. Busy busy weekend.

Today's been super stressful. I wanted to watch "Hall Pass" tonight, but now I think I'm ready for bed!

Evening all....

Today I went down to the Church with DH and helped out. LOL I have been there every morning this last week. I love going there when I am on vacation.
