This little monkey needs a nice indoor home. She's a premature stray who had surgery this past week to remove her left eye. It doesn't seem to slow her down a bit though. She is very sweet and loves to play. My brother lives a short ways down the first road outside of town and seems to always have strayed dumped on his property.
This time it was two young pregnant cats, seem to be sisters. One gave birth to 2 kittens around the 5th of May. The second one, was much smaller and gave birth to 5 kittens a couple weeks later. They were either premature or just very very small due to mama's small size and ill health. The little runt from the 2nd litter passed a couple weeks ago
They're living outside and doing fine at the moment, they get fed and watered daily on the front porch. The two mama's went in today and got spayed, so hopefully no more kittens if he can find homes for the babies. He plans to keep the mama's as outdoor cats if they stay. He already has 3 indoor cats and 2 dogs so is unable to keep any more in the house.
This little tortie had what started as what seemed to be an eye infection that they were trying to treat her for. Then mama cat took the babies off into the woods and didn't bring them back for almost 2 weeks. By then her eye was huge and swollen and appeared to have burst. So they got her into the vet the next day where she spent 2 nights to have her eye removed.
Apparently her vision in that eye had already been gone during that time in the woods because she seemed no different after the surgery, like she had already adjusted her vision. She is very sweet and friendly and loves to play.
He does not want to have to put this girl back outside when she heals, because her disability would make it more dangerous for her, so I'm hoping to help her find a good home.
Located in Grove, OK but could transport a reasonable distance to the right family.

Can anyone help me find this sweet baby a home?
