...but she has to lie on my jeans!



And that's not the first time. This happens pretty often, Dot does it too. Why do cats have to lie on THINGS, whether it's a book, or clothes, or the mail....??? One of the many mysteries of the kitty.

It's a running joke between me and Blaine that if we have lost and can't find something to check under flash coz she does the exact same thing

Because it's something you may need while more importantly you need to love on her.

I don't know, I took a nap earlier and woke up with a kitten on my alarm clock. Good thing I didn't need to hit snooze!

You are looking at this as the glass half empty......She has the pair of jeans and leaving you the rest of the bed they lie on!

Parker is terrible for that. I will put a magazine on the floor...go to reach for it later and I grab a cat instead. Bags, books, clothes. They think everything is their bed.

Isn't it funny that even though every cat has their own personality; there are so many other things they have in common--like this! I think this is why my mom always tried to get me to pick up my clothes when I was a kid.

So true! They are all different but have many of the same habits. So I guess there's some sort of brain programming that tells a cat to lie on whatever, instead of just on the bed or the chair or the floor.

Except you know if the comforter were demin and my pants were soft, fluffy, whatever it is, she'd STILL be on the pants!

Maybe it's the scent of them that are comforting or... she's letting you know that she wants to borrow them for her date next week?

Simba Yim has an uncanny ability to occupy the chair I'm just about to sit in.
I usually concede and pull up another... he looks too comfortable to move him to another spot.
