Morning!

Just finished medicating the sick fosters and now I'm working from home.

Brooklyn was MUCH better at actually letting us get some sleep last night.

She just cuddled and purred.

Zumba with Mom & my aunt tonight and then right after we're going next door to another aunt & uncles to play radio bingo for the shelter. It is their major fundraiser and they have it every week. Anything to help the shelter!

Well its raining here and supposed to most of the day. That's okay as even though we are getting adequate rain from T-storms a good soaker is always needed. Plus I replanted all those daylilies yesterday and moved some other plants around.

So I now have a heat rash? under one arm and some odd itchy welts/scratches on my left arm. I know this might sound odd but when I pick zucchini and the leaves brush on my arms I get a reaction so I have to pick with long sleeves. But one of these marks-looks like a scratch but a odd sort of bite? not a cat bite 4 small little spots the total area about 1/4". Itches like crazy despite trying benedyral/cortaid/and the two poison ivy scrubs. So I'm doing my sisters remedy of putting a piece of scotch tape over the worse spot.
I noticed yesterday morning and I wasn't outside working in yard Monday?

So that is my rambling.

Work then a couple quick errands after. I need to stop at vet clinic to pick up cat carrier but not ready to do so yet.....

Today is a rainy, dreary day here, babysitting 3 little ones. Craig works tonight until 10 so I think the boys and I are heading to a friends for a campfire and some hotdogs.

I don't have to work tonight, WOOT WOOT so I'll have the night to myself until Craig gets home.

Morning Friends!

I'm pooped this morning. We had to move furniture at my mom's and once we got home, we worked in the garden. Made the Zucchini Salsa last night, which is really good stuff. Tonight I have green beans to freeze.

We got our first red tomato!

I washed it and ate it like an apple. Delicious! Rick laughed at me enjoying that tomato so much, but I just love them fresh from the garden. We've had a few of our Lemon Boy tomatoes, but that was the first red Roma.

I'm really hoping that the tomatoes won't be ready to pick at the same time the corn is ready. That could get ugly. I may have to take a vacation day just to work on veggies!

Tabitha has a vet appt tonight for an ear check-up. We've been diligent about cleaning her ears and giving her her meds, so hopefully, they're in better shape now. Her left ear looks nice and pink, but that right one is still dirty.....every time we clean, we still get mite gunk. And it's been almost a month. Frustrating.

Rubbish weather here to so im not going out in it my luck is id step out for a walk and the heavens will open and i'd get rather wet

Morning.. cloudy, cool and humid here so far but it'll get sunny and warm and less humid in an hour or so most likely. The cats miss their morning sunshine, but I actually prefer it when the marine layer is in, I'm not a morning person so the super bright sunlight gets to me sometimes.

I need to go to Lowe's and find a mask that will really cover my face for working with nasty dusty old insulation in the attic. We're getting new insulation when we get the new roof in a few weeks, but we have to get the old stuff out and clean up first. It's so nasty up there. Other than that I have to do laundry and clean floors. Oh, and I want to sew little cases for my calculator and my new mouse, which I keep dropping because I forget it's wireless.

BF comes home from Hawaii tonight! I hope his experience with Hawaiian Airlines in the Honolulu airport is better than it was at LAX. He said it was such a disorganized mess when he flew out on Monday. Anyway, he should be home by 11PM hopefully, and then probably will head straight to bed.

Good afternoon

It was raining this morning - much needed rain! Now it's about 80ºF and sort of muggy since the rain stopped. About to leave work soon. I have to take one of the fosters to Petsmart today since I didn't take him yesterday (Had more questions to ask the group leader about the animals displayed at Petsmart!) I still don't know how I'm going to pick one - gonna miss whichever one I take!

Might go home and watch a movie after that. I have quite a few on my Instant Netflix Queue that Rob doesn't much care about seeing. I also have to go to the post office and get 29 cent stamps for postcards - the post office here didn't have them. And stop at the shelter and pick up some spay/neuter forms for the foster group leader, AND to Sports Authority looking for grips for gymnastics so I don't shred my palm open again! (Looks like little skin-stairs on my palm!)

Evening everyone,

Today was a fairly productive one here. My sister picked up my niece from my house this morning and after that I spent a lot of it getting more unpacking done (moved recently). Comcast came out to transfer my cable/internet, so I got that done today as well. I also wound up bathing/grooming two of my three dogs and cleaning up the yard a bit (Ranger has a therapy visit tomorrow so he had to have a bath, and Macy needed one just in general; Mykelti the puppy is an odd-ball and jumps into the shower every chance she gets, so I wasn't worried about bathing her lol!). Other than that, I just did some laundry & dishes and plan to unpack some more later today.
