I was petting Phaedra earlier and noticed that she has these little scab/pimple like bumps on her back.. She won't let me look or feel around at all, so I can't really tell what they are, but they feel like tiny pimple-like scabs, and she tries to bite me when I touch them.. just wondering what these could be? They aren't red or anything, they're just skin colored, but I can't examine them for more than 2 seconds because she freaks out like it is hurting her when I touch them. She has at least 3 of them in separate places on her back. I'm pretty sure she doesn't have fleas.. she does dig at her ears and I clean them out once every other day, they usually have little brown messy stuff in them, I'm assuming are ear mites. I gave her her first dose of Revolution on the 18th, so she isn't due for another dose until the 18th of August. I'm going to be calling the vet in the morning and seeing when I can get her in, but was just wondering if anyone may know what they are?

She eats Wellness dry & wet kitten food. She has had her first distemper vaccine & dewormer, that was on the 12th. She doesn't show any signs of being sick, no diarrhea, vomiting, lethargy, eats well. She is very active when she's awake, and sleeps a normal amount of hours for a kitten I believe (basically sleeps more than she is awake).

Glad you're taking her to the vet.

You are feeding her canned food - Wellness, giving her a good start in nutrition.

I'm curious what the vet says about her skin - let me (us) know, please.

Hi guys, just wanted to update you. The vet said she doesn't have fleas , so apparently the spots were just scabs, and I am thinking they are from her getting under my dresser and sleeping. She kept squeezing herself under there and the edges are sharp so I am thinking she might have just gave herself a little cut. I put a sheet under the dresser so she can't get under it for now, she has found many other sleeping spots that won't hurt her since then
