Morning all!

Working from home today and taking a rest because next week I am literally backing up half of the office because of vacations! Not looking forward to that at all. Kind of funny how no one steps up when I need a back up though.

Anyway... I did end up going to Zumba last night as my aunt went with me. SO much fun! I have to go over to my brother's this evening as their cat has fleas and I have meds, so I'm going to treat her for them.

Morning Friends!

We're supposed to go to my mom's tonight to move some furniture around for her. I'm taking Mollipop with me. Mom really likes her. Hopefully we can get some garden-time in, too, as we need to pick green beans again.....good thing we love green beans.

We were finally able to turn off the AC last night. A t-storm blew in and dropped the temps down to the mid-70s. The cats really appreciated the open windows....and so did I. I'm tired of freezing in my house! DH likes it colder, so I walk around in sweat pants.

Good morning everyone!!

I have another three hours or so of training to sit through, then I'm contemplating either hitting the gym or taking a nap. I'll probably try to stay awake and actually get some things accomplished before I head out for work at 4, buuut... tomorrow may be my day for getting things done since I don't work in the evening. Feels like the list of chores is never-ending...

Morning... sunny, 70s and kinda humid. Going up to low 80s. I did some gardening earlier on, so I can stay out of the sun for the rest of the day. I might go to Goodwill to see if they have any decent tables, I look every once in a while but haven't found anything yet. Later on I might go to a brewpub downtown for $1 mugs between 5-6, they do that when they're tapping a seasonal beer. I'm not sure yet though if I'm going to go. If I do go, I'll probably only have 1 anyway cos I'll have to drive instead of bus so I can get back home for Dot's 7:00 pill. I'll think about it.

BF is still in Hawaii til tomorrow night. So I might be a couch potato tonight with the kitties. Fun stuff!

Good evening

Got some much needed rain today, woohoo! Picked the fosters up this morning after they were released (fixed yesterday). I'm supposed to take one to Petsmart and put him in the display area for adoptable pets, but can't get a hold of the lady to ask about who feeds them and whatnot, or if I have to go and do it daily or what the deal is. I'll probably call her again in 20-30 minutes. Thinking about the "Wee Ones" leaving makes me sort of sad, as much as they've been driving me crazy lately. They're just so sweet and full of energy but I know they will find good forever homes I also don't know who to pick out of the three to put in the window!

Making simple burritos for dinner - meat, seasoning, cheese. I'm exhausted today. Picking up the kittens this morning took all my energy - it was 30min of driving to get them, 10 minutes of check-out time, 30 min drive home, 5 min at home before rushing off to another 30 min of driving to work!

Hi everyone. Haven't been around on the daily thread lately because my days have been filled with more negative than positive, all around. But things are settling down little by little. Now, I am focusing on Wilbur, my JRT who is dealing with Cushing's. More tests come in tomorrow morning. I don't know how I will go on without him someday when he goes to the bridge. I will never be prepared for that loss, ever. . Doing whatever we can to make his quality of life better, his tremors are out of control now.

Up to Door County this weekend for a family photo. My mom is coming home from the nursing/rehab facility on Friday to try to sit for the photo. She was in a car accident a few weeks ago and broke a vertebrae. She is doing better this week. Will be wonderful to see my whole family even for just one night. Then I will spend two nights near my mom's rehab to give her comfort and strength to get through this long recovery process. Our family reunion is not going to be what we all planned before my mother's accident.

Will let you all know next week how it all turned out!!! Take care
