Football is officially back!!!

Is anyone here an NFL fan? I am a HUGE Jets fan, and when I got the email from Rex Ryan yesterday, I was so happy, I had tears rolling down my face.

My sons play football, (little guy starts this year!) and we all love the sport.

Now, the second half of my year is complete. My boys practice starts next week, and training camp starts for the J-E-T-S! Ahhhhhh. I'm a happy girl!!

I dont see much American football

Our football (Soccer) starts in about 3 weeks maybe less than now and I cant wait

Not here. I'm so not into football or sports of any kind really. DH is a big football fan, so while he's yelling at the tv when the Eagles play, the cats and I are in the bedrooms with a good book or a DVD set. Even they tend to stay away from him when the Eagles are playing.

My sister's a big Eagles fan, too, so sometimes we'll go there or they'll come here. While they're watching the game, my BIL and I are working on computers.

I'm happy they got things settled. I'm not a big fan, but my city is hosting the Super Bowl this year and I'm excited about all that money... that'll be finding it's way into my pocket .

I am a Raider and 49er fan. Rumor has it that Los Angeles is going to be getting another team again in the next few years.

Jets Stadium is Hosting the 2014 Super Bowl. I'm so excited because I know my husband will go out of his way to make sure we're there.

That's great that the revenue will be making it's way into your pocket-it's so important that the profits benefit the stadium locals!

I enjoy watching the Super Bowl, and a few games here and there throughout the year. Giants are my number 1 team, followed by the Jets.

Football is the ONLY sport I truly enjoy watching. Huge Chicago Bears fan, here. I can't wait for the Fall Season to begin. GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the Super Bowl, but every Sunday during the season is like an all day football party. First my boys games in the morning, then NFL at 1, 4 and 8. Not to mention the Monday night Big Game!
Like I said, I love the Jets, followed by the Packers and the Saints. If you want to read a pretty good book, read the book by Drew Brees. It made me truly understand what a family the Saints and their fans are.

I do root for the Giants, when the Jets aren't playing them, and I hate hate hate the Pats. (can't think enough bad thoughts about Brady)

You can't be a Packer's fan !!!!! We will be rival's then. Larry's cousin's live in Milwaukee and we always have a huge get together when the Packers and Bears go at it!!!!

p.s. We could also have "Housewive" threads , seeing as we both like those shows too.

I like the Packers and the Saints because both teams have a unique relationship with their fans. I was glad to see the Pack beat the Steelers last season. Did my heart good.

Housewives threads sound great too! I'm all over the NJ one-they are soooo comical. Especially the Theresa/melissa stuff. I love Caroline, and wish Dina would come back.

I hate the Pats and the Steelers I root for the Saints as well, and really enjoyed watching that Superbowl and screaming from the couch while my BIL was yelling for the Colts. We have a "party" (really just family getting together and pigging out) for the Superbowl. Rob isn't a big sports fan, so usually we're only watching the games when I turn them on. He's more of a college football person if he's going to watch, because he thinks people in pro sports get paid too much.
