Cooked. Not being facetious either......any cooked tater is a good tater; with me it is more about the KIND of tater as I am less than enthused about Russets aka baking potatoes and prefer either the reds or waxy whites for everything.

I dislike russets and I dislike baked potatoes.

I love any form of fried or scalloped.

I like mashed potatoes with garlic. BF makes the best!

I also like my potatoes in Tater Tot form. My guilty pleasure/comfort food.

And, uh, I've discovered recently that I'm a bit of a potato chip junkie.
Haven't had any in a few weeks though...

I love potatoes! I have no favourite way to have it served to me either!

French fries, mashed, boiled, pan fried or baked, it's all good!

If it's baked it has to be baked uncovered at 450 degrees for about 1 hour so that the outside is super crispy and the inside nice and soft. Of course if it's a small potatoe, the baking time will be less.

Oooh, yeah, crispy, almost burnt potato skins are GREAT on a baked potato!! They get that way wrapped in foil and baked (grilled, I guess)on a charcoal grill too!

I love potatoes cooked any way! Especially baked with sour cream and melted cheese. When I was a kid I liked eating them raw (peeled of course)

In retrospect, my very favourite preparation is potato pancakes, made the old way with rubbed potatoes (the side of a box grater that looks like nail holes), one large spoonful of flour per medium potato, salt and pepper and fried in *GASP* lard, or canola oil in a pinch. This is the real old style way, no onions mixed in but fried and served as a side dish. Most people use sour cream on potato pancakes but I like corn syrup.

Not sure I ever met a potato I never liked.

No, wait. BIL once bought some that were baked and boiled and never completely cooked. No matter what you did to it, it was still crunchy. (And not in a good way.

Let me see.... Mashed with butter and white country gravy, baked with lots of butter, cheese and bacon, cubed and fried in butter or margarine, french fried, cubed and roasted in the oven with olive oil and spices and just about any other way. I love potatoes!

As Sam told Gollum in the 2nd Lord of the Rings film: "PO-TA-TOES! Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew."

Potatoes are my favorite veggies---french fries, au gratin, tater tots with chili and cheese, homemade mashed, etc.

I love potatoes. My favourite would have to be french fries because they can be ate so many different ways. Poutine (my favourite), gravy, salt and vinegar, cheese sauce, chilli, ketchup....
Now I am craving fries.

I'm not a big potato fan by itself. If I have a potato with my meal I like it baked and smothered in butter with salt and pepper. Cheesy baked potatoes I like though. When it comes to the starch, I would rather have rice than potatoes. Can me weird....

I love a baked potato, wrapped in foil and done on the grilled or in hot coals from a fire. No butter or sour cream. But I do like it with salt on the peel (Red Lobster, for example).

I make a lot of twice-baked potatoes b/c that's how DH likes them. I'll often make his twice-baked, and have my just baked.

Now....potato chips? OMG! I can eat an entire bag of Utz Salt and Malt Vinegar chips by myself. In one sitting.
