Morning all!

I'm actually in the office today!
Figured I better show my face before they all think I died.

Another beautiful day here so hopefully we can get out for a walk this evening. We did some major junk food bingeing this weekend and I feel like a whale.
Zumba is tonight but Mom is working and I'm not really sure if I want to go on my own.

Good Morning, Kailie

I am sunburnt AGAIN, lol so I am sitting here in a little pain.
Laundry, laundry, laundry is on my agenda for today!

Having some friends over for supper tonight, should be fun and that's about it I guess.

Hope you guys all have a great Monday!

Good morning!

Today looks like rain, first rain in awhile.
I was going to go for a run, but my legs still hurt from my run on Saturday. (90 degrees and 98 humidity was not a good idea) So I'll probably just clean up around here, and watch all my DVR'd shows from last night, I watched the 3 twilight movies instead of my usual series, so now I have to play catch up.

My son slept over his friends house, so I do have to go collect him in a little while, and I may drag the kids to the pet shop to pick up some more toys for the furmily.

I also have to start packing for our last camping trip of the summer, we leave Sunday, it's close to home, and the boys start football, so it won't be a totally relaxing trip. (The trip is 25 minutes from home...lol)

Have a great day everyone!!

Morning Friends!

I overslept this morning. Well, I was up at 5:30 to clean litter boxes and such, but it's dark and dreary outside this morning. When I went back to the bedroom, Mollipop was in the catnapper, looking out the window. I sat on the bed and started talking to her and whoosh! she was on the bed. So we curled up together for awhile and took a bit of a nap. Ordinarily I don't do that, but it was so warm and so cuddly lying with her there. And I dropped back off. I made it to work with just seconds to spare. Doesn't matter; had I been late, I would have cheerfully worked the extra time over lunch. It was worth it just to grab a few minutes of cuddle-time with Miss Pop.

Have a great Monday! Don't work too hard!

Morning all.

It sunny outside and supposed to be less humid.
Off to the showers in a bit as I have to call the vet to see if Nub e can get in today instead of tomorrow as he is really bloated. I don' think he is pooping and I cannot syringe feed him much as he pushes away. I'll have to drop him off as I can't find anyone to cover for me.

So thats my purpose today. Nub e, work and then I'll see......

Morning.. bright and sunny this morning, and I was up much earlier than usual. BF left around 6AM for a work trip to Hawaii, and I just never got back to sleep. Apparently Hawaiian Airlines is not the best airline to fly for business, he's been at the gate for an hour or so and still doesn't have a seat. He has an assigned seat for the flight back though at least. I just really hope he does get on this flight, because he's got a presentation to give this afternoon!

So that leaves just us girls here in the LBC for a few days. I have to order some textbooks on Amazon today to make sure I get them on time with no problems before school starts in 3 weeks. Job searching, and not much else planned for the day as of yet. Some planting/gardening maybe, but maybe not, as I was out in the sun at this Tiki/car show thing yesterday for a few hours, and went across the street to the beach and say hi to the ocean, and felt pretty icky afterwards. Not burnt, I had a big hat and sunblock, but the mid-afternoon sun just makes me sick to my stomach.

Anyway, I guess I've rambled enough now. Have a good day everyone!

Good morning!

Almost 10:00 here; today I'm finishing painting our daughter's dresser. She's still asleep and hopefully she doesn't act too much like a teenager today and more like her normal-person self. Here's hoping!

Good... afternoon!

Much cooler today... we had a heatwave here in the midatlantic area, heat indices were in the 115 degree range! So this 86 degrees feels like a spring day. It's also partly cloudy which helps.

I had a long, relaxing weekend but I'm still exhausted this morning... it started with seeing Captain America at midnight on Thursday... I had to get up for a vet appointment Friday morning at 9am - thus started the NAP CYCLE OF DOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!! I napped at least three hours every day this weekend, including more than 4 hours yesterday. The clock struck 4am before I could sleep last night, and the cats woke me up at 5:30 AND 6:30!!! (I report to work at 8am.) Worth it, though
I don't have any plans for tonight so I'll try to get to bed early, around 9-10, and get my cycle set back to where it should be.

Hope everyone is able to stay cool!!! I wish it would get rainy and cloudy and cool... 65 degrees and rainy is exactly my kind of weather
BRING IT ON!!! Are you listening up there, clouds???

Good evening

Started the day off dropping the fosters off to be fixed. They're officially on PetFinder, one will be able to be shown at Petsmart's adoptable display, and the foster group is doing an adoption fair this weekend.

Had what felt like a long day at work, though the day itself went by relatively fast. Watched the Goonies for the first time ever when I got home, now just relaxing after dinner. I have to pick the fosters up at 7:30am tomorrow, which is ridiculously inconvenient because I have to work, and the kittens are 20 miles from my house ... so I'll be doing 65+ miles of driving tomorrow morning just to do that and then go to work... and be late to work and have to work later to make up for it, meh. I wish my MIL was back from Maine already!
