Hi guys im new here and having alitytle problem, I have 2 cats that have had kittens, I have 7 kittens and 2 cats in total, the kittens are now 6 and half weeks and 5 weeks today, They have all been really good using the litter tray untill last week one of the older kittens (male) has started to wee by the back and front door, there is another male in the younger litter he is using the litter tray and so are all the girl kittens, what can i do to stop him doing this wee near doors? I was plannin on keeping him when all the others go to new homes but im not sure I can cope with this longterm
He does use the litter tray too sometimes, please help if you can any advice happily recieved, will try anythini that works so I can keep him as he really is gorgeous
P.S I am cleaning the floor with biological washing liquid when he has wee'd there xx

How many litter boxes do you have? How often do you scoop? Perhaps there aren't enough litter boxes.
Also, besides the floor, you will have to clean the door too. Any remaining scent of urine will make him return to the same spot. Soon the others might join him.

I would also try another litter box in a completely different location. Cats, even kittens, are territorial and the other kittens may think of the present litterbox as their territory. UTIs are unusual for a kitten but it might be worth getting him checked for one. UTIs have the same effect on kittens as humans and he may just not be able to get to the litter box in time. The only behavior that I know of that causes a cat to pee in doorways is a female in heat and that obviously isn't what is going on here.
