Yes, I know patience is a virtue. However, the Secret Santa name drawing event is an exception to this rule. I found a perfect gift Friday (and there was only one left) but without my name I was afraid to buy it. It was sort of a person specific item and some people don't like cat decor. Now I am regretting not buying it anyway, since it's located in probably one of the worse places to drive in the entire state as far as traffic conditions, and chances are I won't be going back unless I have to. And if it was something my recipient wouldn't have wanted, well, it wouldn't have broken my heart to have to keep something so cute.

You could have always saved it for NEXT year!

I really can't wait! I've picked up a few things, and it really gives me something to look forward to.

Yes, I was happy to see the first one, knowing that others are thinking about it, too. I bet the mods can't wait to get started with the fun.

I need 230 more posts to be eligible
I don't think I'll be participating this year.

I'm interested in the SS this year. Where can I find more info on it or should I wait until closer to time for the rules?

I went to VA Beach and they had a year round Christmas store with so many kitty ornaments... but without a name, or a description of a cat, sadly I had to walk away.

I've been so excited for SS... I think the anticipation kicked in around December 26th....

Yes, where is Katie? CoolCat is the only mod that has weighed in so far. I guess the rest of them are too excited to even talk about it.

I was hoping to have special surprise in store for my recipient this year, but it's probably going to have to wait. Being as I am the ultimate procrastinator.

But I am more excited about SS than Butterbean is about winning Llama shows. He's always getting a blue ribbon or trophy for this or that. Sure, sometimes he eats them, but we still have quite an impressive showcase of containing such notable honors as "Best Llama in Show" and "Most Beautiful Llama, USA" and even "Most Beautiful Llama, Hungary." (No, we are not Hungarian...I had to fudge a little on our application to enter that show. All llama stage moms do that. Stop judging me!

This would be my first year with TCS and I am thinking of doing the SS. It can't be worse than the Spotlight
(hola, Captain Cool
) and has to be alot more fun
. I have already picked up two cute cat gifts. I will wait to hear more information about the TCS SS and how it all works.
