This is a quiz for people who know everything!

These are not trick questions.
They are straight questions with straight answers.. AND NO FAIR USING GOOGLE OR THE DICTIONARY. EITHER YOU KNOW THEM OR YOU DON'T! Send me your answers in a PM. I will send 25000 points to the first person to get them all right. If no one gets them all write, the first person to get the most right.

I will post the answers tomorrow in a different post.

1. Name the one sport in which neither the spectators nor the participants know the score or the leader until the contest ends.

2. What famous North American landmark is constantly moving backward?

3. Of all vegetables, only two can live to produce on their own for several growing seasons. All other vegetables must be replanted every year. What are the only two perennial vegetables?

4. What fruit has its seeds on the outside?

5. In many liquor stores, you can buy pear brandy, with a real pear inside the bottle. The pear is whole and ripe, and the bottle is genuine; it hasn't been cut in any way. How did the pear get inside the bottle?

6. Only three words in standard English begin with the letters ' dw' and they are all common words. Name two of them.

7. There are 14 punctuation marks in English grammar. Can you name at least half of them?

8. Name the only vegetable or fruit that is never sold frozen, canned, processed, cooked, or in any other form except fresh.

9. Name 6 or more things that you can wear on your feet beginning with the letter 'S.'

Do you want us to answer them here as well or just keep the answers to ourselves?

Most of those are pretty easy...especially if you're sixty years old!

LOL Didn't think about that... PM me your answers. I will edit the original post. Also, I will be giving points to the first one to answer them all right. Just don't know how many points yet, but will post in my edit.

I don't know the answer to #1, but at 52 years old these questions aren't so difficult either.

#3 is wrong, though, we have 3 perennial vegetables in our garden right now.

#6 is wrong, too, there are more than 3 words that start with dw!

LOL I didn't write the quiz but was sent it by my MIL. Should of checked. As for #6. Most of the words beginning with dw are derived from the three words, such as joined is derived from join. and the other two are not common. I have never heard of dwine, and dweeb is a slang term.

I knew the answers to a few, but none for the sports questions.

I found the answers by pasting one of the questions into Google. It popped up the whole quiz.

There are a couple of folks that should probably know all the answers but I'm not one of them.
