Hi, i'm kind of doing this backwards, I posted on the cat health forum and appreciated all the responses. Let me introduce myself, I am Kai, married with two children on the autism spectrum. I live in Northern California. I have 7 feral to tame rescue shelter cats that live on our land, spayed and neutured and rescued from euthanasia. I have another tame Savannah mix rescue, and a bengal kitten. I am glad to have this board to learn from, bounce ideas around, and get kitty support.

Hi and welcome to the forum
. I would love to see picture's of your cats as many other people have said. I own a nonstandard(red spotted) F3 Savannah and three domestics. My domestics can go in and out as they wish but it would not be safe to let my Savannah outside
. But I am sure he would love to go out like the domestics
. What generation is your Savannah? I would love info and photo's on the Bengal as well.

Again welcome to the forum
.

Thank you all for your replies and your warm welcome. It is nice to meet all of you and to see that there are so many cat people here, and also a parent of a child with autism.
I would love to post pictures of my cats but I haven't figured out how to do it on this site yet, I guess I need to post them on the web first because the picture icon seems to be linked to a url. I am used to just uploading like on facebook. BTW, my savannah is a mix from the shelter so I have no idea of his ancestry. I just thought he was a pretty spotted cat until I went to a breeder and saw a bunch of savannahs that looked like my cat. I showed her a picture and she said he definetely has strong savannah in him. He actually came with his twin brother, who ate a poisoned mouse from the neighbors and died earlier this month. Very tough for me and I am still getting over it. My neighbors are going to stop putting poison out which is good since I have so many ferals. Other than that I have an acre with a creek and a pond and I live on a quiet street with no real predators like coyotes, so it's nice if they can be outside because it's a cat paradise. But after this ordeal I have thought about building some kind of cattery because it's just too hard to lose them.

Hi
,

The way I post photo's is from my Photo Bucket account
. The website is www.photobucket.com, like you needed the website
. I am going to leave you some basic instructions that Xocats gave me that I found useful:

It very user-friendly, and best of all, free!

Once you register there, you can start uploading pictures to your albums there. When you upload a picture, make sure it is no bigger than 640 pixels wide...there is an uploading option on Photobucket that will upload them to that size, or whichever size you choose. If you need help with re-sizing just let me know.

When you upload a picture, you will see it in your album. Below each picture are a set of codes. To make a picture appear within the body of your post, you right click and copy in the code that has the tags that look like this:
Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code (This is the one you want)

Next...
open a message box in a thread ,
click the paste option in your own tool bar,
in the area of the message where you want your photo to be located....
just right click and paste your photo...
it should be there when you preview your message.

If you need more assistance feel free to let me know. I would be glad to help
. The other option is you can PM me the photo's and I could post them for you
.

I can not wait to see picture's of all your cats but I can not wait to see your Savannah and Bengal most of all.
