6 Week Old NJ Kitten needs a home!!

I found a 6 wk old kitten at a Sonic restaurant in NJ and trapped him. He was so close to busy traffic and it was just a matter of time before getting hit by a car. A nice lady who was there took the kitten and said that she wanted it. Now, 2 days later, she called me and said that she can't keep him.

The kitten who we both named Sonic already had a bath, but has never been to the vet. She told me that he is very friendly and cuddled with her the first night she had him.

He looks quite a bit older than 6 weeks to me?

I would say he is around 5-6 months. Check and see if he has his canine teeth. But he does look a sweet boy.

He looks older but he weighs less than 2 pounds. He is very malnourished... He does not have his K-9 teeth yet. He fits in the palm of your hand and is much smaller than my 12 week old kitten. The angle of the pictures make him look bigger than he really is.

It's not just the size, the proportions and the appearance of the head/face look like a much older kitten...
I once rescued a kitten who was 2 pounds when I rescued her, very underweight and undersized (tiny), we thought she was at most 10-12 weeks old and she turned out to be at least 5-6 months old...just very small and skinny due to being a stray.

I found him a home!
