Asher has been adopted!

Just wanted to share some great news. Asher, the sweet, handsome stray kitty who found me on Ash Wednesday (hence the name) has been adopted! You may recall that Asher had a badly infected tail injury at the time of his rescue and, unfortunately, tested positive for feline leukemia. Asher ended up in the care of a wonderful local rescue that takes in FeLV and FIV+ cats. The director emailed me last night to share the news that Asher will be going home tomorrow with a wonderful couple who only takes in FeLV+ cats and has adopted from the rescue before. He's a lucky boy and I'm so happy for him and his adopters!

Eileen, I couldn't believe it when I saw the title of the thread!

What wonderful news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Many that beautiful boy settles into his new home with ease!

Asher is very lucky tabby to have come under the watchful eyes and loving care of people who know what a sweet love he is....

Congrats to you Eileen, his shelter and the loving humans who have opened their hearts and home to this wonderful cat.
