A little nervous to join this community! :)

Hey there everyone!
My name is Chelsea, I'm a single mom with 4 darling boys (9 year old twins, a 6 year old, and my 3 month old baby) and 2 precious cats named Rugly and Spatter.
It's tough making my way around life but the kitties keep me going even when I don't know I can keep on living. Shortly after the birth of my youngest, I overdosed on painkillers by accident. I could have died but the snuggles of my Rugly girl kept me going.

Rugly is now pregnant with what looks like octuplets and hopefully this site will help out.

Hi and welcome . If you ever need to talk I am here to listen. I know what it is like to have a rough life. But I can only imagine being a single mother adds to that stress.

Hi and welcome!

It sounds like you have a handful with 4 boys and 2, soon to be a lot more kitties!

I have 2 boys, 9 years and allmost 2 years old and 2 cats, 12 year old Feykirófa (means "swirly" tail, which is how she was born, tail first that swirled around for a while. It's also a name of a troll in an old fairytale) and 2 year old Doppa (mean "spot"....which she does not have, as she is all black).

I am glad that your Rugly helped you in your difficulties!

Oh, I understand that completely! I was actually on a little hiatus from TCS myself for the last couple of weeks, because I've been a little busy. I find myself getting into disputes on here for a variety of reasons, but usually I try to avoid those kinds of topics. I just agree to disagree, as it appears that no one seems to agree with me!

Hello and welcome. This is a great community, and it benefits from having people from all over the world. with many viewpoints, not just on how to keep cats but on all kinds of things. Often we have to agree to disagree, but we all learn from seeing how other people do things. And if someone does go over the top occasionally, our Mods quickly bring things back to normal. TCS is simply the best place to be.
