One of my cats, he is 1 year and a half has had a problem with his nose getting moderately stuffed, sometimes a dried crust creates in the outside of his nose and I just remove it. When he is asleep, you can hear the noise of air going in and out the stuffy nose. He has been like this for a year I would say, he eats normal, active. He even snores a bit and he doesnt meow, he is mute. The vet said some cats are just born like this or never learn to meow; its funny because he doesnt meow, he just opens the mouth to "do it" and can hizz normally.

My question is, what can I do to help my boy breath better? Will pediatric nosedrops decongestatns work? or what do you recommend?

It depends on what's causing his runny, stuffed up nose. Your vet should be able to help you there.

I do know that alot of human medicines, even over-the-counter ones, are deadly to cats; so I wouldn't try anything myself.

That being said, he's probably got a respiratory tract infection. They can be deadly. If so, he needs antibiotics.
