VERY pregnant Desiree escaped!!!

Thread Starter
My VERY pregnant and semi feral (pulled from an outdoor colony) foster kitty escaped about an hour ago. I've been out since then trying to catch her with no luck. I had her within my grasp a good three times and she slipped through in the darkness. I'm completely devastated. She is going to go into labor at any time. If you even touch your hand to her stomach, you can feel the kittens moving around inside her belly. She has been eating enough for four cats and demanding affection for the past two weeks but today she stayed under my bed the entire day except when she heard the door open. I fear she waited for her moment to get outside to go have these babies. I'm a wreck right now. I don't know what else to do except pray she comes back.

She will probably stay close by...trying to find a dark place to give birth.
You need to go and rent/buy/borrow a live trap. Her hunger is your only chance.
Set the trap up, perhaps even place a towel over it and put a can of tuna for bait. If you can't watch the trap...you'll more than likely catch other cats or raccoons. You need to do this BEFORE she gives birth. Once she has them...you can't trap her or the kittens will die. *Unless you know where they are and can reach them.
Good luck!!
