Hello! Intro and pictures!

Hello, I'm new here!

Growing up, I had always been more of a dog person, but recently cats have just taken over my life. I have been lurking around the message boards and I think there is some really great information here!

I recently moved to Scotland from Canada and decided it was time to get a cat and now I have two British Shorthairs. Jaffa Cake is a black, retired breeding queen I got from a breeder at 6 years old. She has had 3 litters and during her last litter she had uterine inertia, so the breeder spayed her and she came to live with me. She has the most wonderful personality and is very laid-back, would like nothing more than to sleep all day. So, after having her and falling in love with the breed, I decided to get another, Angus. I got him as a kitten and he's a black-tipped/chinchilla/silver shaded British Shorthair, but personality-wise, he is the complete opposite of her. He's only about 3 and a half months right now.













Anyway, I figured it was about time to introduce myself and share some pictures! q

Well, he sure looks that way, but he can really drive me crazy sometimes!

I was JUST about to post this message and he walked across the keyboard, hence the random q at the end, and I wasn't even sure if this message posted.

What gorgeous cats!

Angus looks like he's looking for mischief, which would be normal at that age. The little foster we have is like that, too. Never let trouble go untroubled, is his motto!

Hi and welcome! Your cats are gorgeous!!!

I see you live in Edinburgh, do you live inside the city or in the neighbouring cities? I used to live close to Edinburg for a short while (first in Dirleton, next to North Berwick) and later in Aberlady). I loved living in Scotland, wold love to live there again.

Hey, thanks everyone for the warm welcomes! I am glad I found this forum and now have people who I can share my love of cats with!

And Pollÿanna, I live in the city centre, right near the castle. It is a very beautiful city and everything just has so much history, but the weather was definitely something to get used to!
