I think there is something wrong w\ Wendys ear

Hello all the last 4 days now Wendy has been shakeing her head alot. I looked in her ears they seem clean. i checked her for fleas i dont see any on her. she shakes her head and then bugs out and runs i dont know why. thanks Laura

She probably has ear mites, sometimes you can't see them because they are deep in the ear canal. You can test and see by taking a roll of cotton, tearing off a small piece and dunking it in warm water. Wring it out well- you don't want water in her ears, then take the piece and insert it gently roll it slowly one rotation and withdraw it. If she has mites you will see black and red specks on the cotton and she needs mite medicine from you vet.

M.A. is probably right. Max was doing the same thing. His mites were gone, but they left an infection that you really can't see unless you look hard. He had some black stuff way down in his ear canal. I had to put drops in his ears for 10 days. Please take your fur baby to the vet.
