I use Urine Off and Knock-Out I just noticed three spots I used to be able to see with the black light, but now are very clear in regular light. I ahve pretty light beige carpet and the spots are a pastell yellow. I am wondering if the urine has just come to the surface. I would say the spots are a few months old and have been sprayed.
I read in the book "Cat Wrangling...." about Urine Erase which comes as a powder and also a liquid for a two step cleaning process.
I can not really tell if the carpet is permenantly stained, but I am sure it is a possibility.
