For the last couple of months, Griffin has been vomiting frequently. Not throwing up his food necessarily, but usually just a little bit of liquid. It has increased in frequency from maybe once a week, to now every couple of days, to sometimes a couple times a day. He does have episodes seemingly every day where he wretches a little bit, but nothing comes up.
At first I thought maybe it was because I had switched the boys' food, because it started around the same time. (Switched from TOTW to Blue Buffalo, basically because the store nearest to me doesn't carry TOTW.) For a couple days, Bastian started throwing up too, except he was throwing up his food, not just the liquid that Griffin does. So then I switched the food back to TOTW. Since then, Bastian has not vomited, but Griffin still is.
They are both eating and behaving normally. I have seen one loose stool in the litter box in all this time, but I don't know which kitty it was from. Both kitties are 3 1/2 years old.
I am planning on calling the vet on Monday, but I'm curious to get some thoughts from the community on what might be causing Griffin's problem. Could it be a hairball that he can't bring up? Some kind of partial obstruction?
