Today is Hobbes's 1st Birthday - the official one. 
(This is what the vet suggested and the rescue had it on file.) They get boiled chicken today, their favorite, and each get a catnip cigar, to celebrate. Oh and tons of lovin'
Though we got Hobbes later, he is actually a couple of weeks older than Calvin, and he is about 2/3 of Calvin's size. As many of you may know, in his short life he's been to the vet quite a few times and have multiple health issues but he's a little trooper. He's also a joker - always making us laugh with his antics. I was concerned when he first came that he did not utter anything. Little did we know that he would be such a talker (Laurie was so right about this). He is also very spunky and LOVES to play. He's more daddy's boy and kinda goofy like daddy. We are so lucky that he came to our lives.
