Daily Thread Friday 15/7/2011

YAY on all your fosters finding homes That's just amazing!

Just sitting here waiting for the little girl I babysit to show up, after she leaves we are headed to Bathurst to the beach for the rest of the day, Craig's aunt and uncle rented a cottage and I can't wait!

Then we come home and off to work I go, LOL

Good afternoon, been a nice day so far, cloudy earlier but sunny now, low 70s. I'd prefer it to be a bit warmer, but I guess I can't complain. Since BF's car is getting fixed, he took my car to work today. I rode my bike to Target to get a giftcard and mailed it and some other things, and got a few things at Trader Joes and rode back. It was a nice bit of exercise, 4 miles, and it was still cloudy so that made it better. (I don't do too well in the sun) Now I'm just chilling out a bit, not sure when BF will get home from work, but when he does I guess we'll have to go get his car. I'm thinking it will be a relaxing evening tonight since BF's been out of town most of the week. I'm looking forward to it.

Tomorrow morning we're going to Huntington Beach to get some plants from our friends who are redoing their whole backyard and are getting rid of tons of potted plants/cactus/succulents. they have so much cool stuff, they should have a plant sale! But they just want to give them to friends. So I'll happily help them out with that! Not sure what we'll do with all that we take home, but we'll figure it out and give some plants a good new home. Maybe meeting our friend Scott at Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach for lunch on the way back, and then movie night at his house later on with some grilling of our own. Should be a fun day. Sunday I'm thinking I'll do some gardening work and BF will probably finish up painting and whatever else he's been doing in the garage.
