I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

That mirrors information I have read on other sites, however, I'd caution people against a knee jerk reaction and think that any amount of fish protein is bad.
IMO, having some fish in the diet provides healthy nutrients, but just like one is advised not to eat sushi or tuna everyday, neither should it be a primary protein source of their diet. And most of the salmon you eat is also farm raised, its not just pet food. And lets not forget there are issues with pet grade chicken and beef as well, but perfection isn't necessary for a healthy animal.
We still feed fish recipes once and sometimes twice a week, and no issues. Most have either salmon or "ocean fish" listed as a primary ingredient. *knock on wood*

My cat can only eat foods with fish as the only protein source and he's fine and healthy [other than his food allergies].

I still think it depends on the cat and its health when it comes to food. Like some humans can't eat certain food, its the same for cats.
Mine's on mixture of fish, chicken and such, whatever can I grab for their meal is what they get and no issues.
