11 year old Ragdoll killed her 1st mouse

"Momma" my 11 year old blue mitted Ragdoll is allowed outside only in the summer while being watched very closely by myself in my fenced in yard. Today I am proud of her as she has caught her first gray mouse I was sitting outside and heard a commotion going on in the bushes. I looked about and saw Momma flinging something up in the air and pouncing on top of it. I went over to see.......and saw her standing over about a 3 inch grey field mouse flapping it's legs like crazy. I figured that she already bit it and it was slowly dieing I walked away from the scene and went to sit down again. Less than 10 minutes later Momma brought the mouse over to where I was sitting in her mouth while meowing loudly to announce that she killed it. I picked up the deceased mouse and quickly disposed of the body while telling her "Good Momma"...........Thank god she did not try to eat it. She seemed very proud of herself for the kill I guess now that I have to re-rate her to a verified mouser??????

Congratulations Momma!
My friend's 8 year old Persian also recently caught his first mouse. It was inside their house though so my friend sort of freaked out.

My Siamese kitten 7 months old goes outside in the purrrfect fence and last week a mole got in there and she caught it all the other cats gathered round to watch and you should of heard her growling as she did not want anyone near her as she tossed it up into the air..
A few weeks ago a snake got in and they had to bring it inside just a little one but i don't like snakes at all...
