Hey guys, when i came home today i was shocked to see the right eye of my kitten had something cloudy in it. I'm very worried as I'm scared its something serious and might cause him blindness in that eye(TOUCH WOOD!). Anyone can tell me what it might be and how to treat it as the vet is too expensive for me . Really worried about him as he is my world!

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

I am sorry but there is no way of diagnosing what's is going on based on your description without a proper examination by a vet and please don't put anything in the eye without vet's approval as this can do more harm than good.
Bottom line your baby needs to be looked at and then your Vet can go over your options with you.

That's called a nic(i)tating membrane, or third eyelid, and usually indicates some sort of illness or infection. He really needs to be seen by a vet, who is the only one who can provide a proper diagnosis and treatment.

When you say "cloudy eye", i think cataract. But I can't see your cats eye so I can't help much but I found this:
"Cloudy eye: There are certain diseases that change the clarity of the eye, turning it cloudy or making it seem as if the cat has a blind eye. This cloudiness can vary from a small, localized haziness to complete opacity of the eye. Loss of clarity or transparency of the eye indicates an inner eye disorder. Loss of clarity or transparency, accompanied by signs of pain, suggests keratitis, glaucoma, or uveitis. Corneal edema, the buildup of fluid in the normally clear cornea, will give the eye a uniform blue-gray appearance. This is usually associated with signs of pain. Cataracts are the most likely cause when the eye is not painful. When the eye is entirely opaque, you might think the cat is blind in that eye, but this is not necessarily true. A cloudy eye should receive immediate professional attention" -WebMD
But I do recommend seeing a Vet to make sure it isn't of real concern. A Vet visit is about 40 bucks. Which is like a tank of gas. So do you want to risk the life of your cat, or cough up that gas money?

Well i'm currently 15 and the last time i had brought my other cat to the vet cost me $800. I'm afraid it might cost the same. If its just $40 i'll definitely bring him there. Theres a cloudy thing in bottom left side of his right eye. He dosent seem to be in pain cause he's very active still. I do have a picture of it though.

Can you post the picture, or a link to it somewhere?
