"The Closer" TV Series

Anyone watching "The Closer"?

I'm interested in locating the best online Forum for this show - just love it - didn't start watching until last year and I really don't know how on earth I missed this GREAT show before now!

I used to watch it way back when. But I think it either changed channels or days and I lost track of it. To be honest I thought it had been cancelled.

I think I watched season 1 and 2.

Anyway, here is a forum you can go and talk about the show. It's an odd site when it comes to posting on the forums. It's one of 2 forums that I am a member of where creating posts is discouraged! Most forums at tv.com have a thread to discuss the most recent episode and people are expected to keep their posts to that one thread. I have no idea why.

So if I felt a need to post about something, I tended to just post it in an existing thread rather than create my own. Safer that way

This site looks more user/fan friendly:

Did I miss the start of the new season? I like the show, except there are too few episodes per season.

I think it is about 2 weeks into the new, and unfortunately, last season. I love that show. I was so sad when she had to put Kitty down because she was so sick, but the new kitty, Joel, is absolutely adorable.

Yes, the first episode was this week - this is the last year the series will be produced - I think this is the 7th season.

Yeah, 2 new episodes have aired this season. But they play the last one before the new episode, so you can catch this week's episode before next week's episode (new eps are at 8pm central time Mondays on TNT). My mom bought the season DVDs so I borrowed them and am going through the seasons. I'm up to season 4 (it's true, there aren't enough episodes per season! Only 15 most seasons). This season will have 10 episodes now, 5 in the winter, and 6 next summer, but they added extra episodes to introduce a spinoff. Then that's it .

I think I need to practice my "thank yew soooo much" way of dealing with people, LOL.

Well you are located in SOUTH Dakota, after all, being polite with an accent probably just comes naturally.

I remember going to summer camp as a child, and we had a couple of girls from South Carolina in our cabin - we were all speaking with a Southern accent by the time camp was over.

LOL, South Dakota isn't south of anything other than North Dakota! No accents here either, except a slight Minn-eh-soh-tah accent that leaks over the border. And I'm not so sure Brenda is actually being polite when she says that. . ..

Awww, but you can fake it, and do the head tilt, smile, and "blink blink". Yeah, not polite but it passes very well, thank Yew! lol

I love this show and we've watched it from the beginning. I didn't realize it was the last season. Now, I'm depressed.
