Sydney

It's been so long I know!. Sydney went to live with my mom and dad last year. We were having inappropriate peeing issues with her (pretty much since we brought her home in 2006). Numerous tests ruled out a physical cause so we were left with emotional.

Originally the stay at my parent's house was to be temporary, but Sydney really blossomed over there. She is the only cat, and is happy as a clam!. No more peeing outside the box! My parents have a fully fenced yard and she is able to sit outside under supervision

I'm so glad that I get to visit my girl anytime I want and she can still be a part of our lives

What a beauty Sydney is . She's just gorgeous.

Thank you for doing what you did for Sydney. I imagine it couldn't have been easy to make the decision to let your baby go and live with your family and, your situation and Sydney's progress, is an important lesson for us all -- sometimes rehoming a cat is not the worst possible solution. And, I don't mean dumping kitties. I mean doing as you did; ensuring that Sydney had a loving, safe environment to live and come into her own. And, the fact that you're able to visit her as often as you do is also evidence of how much she is loved. She has certainly blossomed under the care of your parents and I am so happy that her behavioral issues have resolved. She's a beautiful girl and appears very happy and content in her new home. And, I am sure she appreciates (as much as any kitty can appreciate) your continued visits and affection. This appears to be a win-win situation for all I think you should be commended for making a difficult, but positive and healthy choice for all involved.

Please keep sharing photos of Sydney. She is just stunning.

Aww, she's beautiful! She looks very relaxed and content. I'm sure it was tough to give her up, but if she's happier at your parents' house, that's great news, especially since you can visit her!
