Continued Dominance Issues

My fiance and I moved in together, into her place. She had a 9 year old female cat named Kiki and I owned a 3 year old male cat names Thomas, both fixed. We tried to introduce them slowly, and it worked, but when we got to visual introduction using babygates to separate them, Kiki would simply climb the gates ... all three of the, any crevasse was enough for her to squeeze through and then try and assert dominance over Tom Cat. We finally just let them be and figured dominance would get figured out. While Thomas started out acting like he didn't understand the aggression, he finally ended up realizing he was twice as big ans still had his claws. The problem is, a year later Thomas still tussles with Kiki and Kiki hates it and screams and yeowls. Somewhere between 3 and 30 times a day Thomas will chase Kiki down and try to tackle her, sometimes pinning her to the ground. We are not sure what to do about this. On the plus side, Thomas never seems to use his claws on her. I would love any advice on how to reduce the cat fights

Hi there!! Let me ask you a couple questions first...

1. Are they both fixed?
2. You said Thomas is armed- does Kiki still have her claws too?
3. Have they been to the vet lately for check-ups?
4. Have there been any major changes in their routine?

There are a lot of people here with a lot of knowledge- so wait around and you'll get some fabulous advice!
