I am glad to finally have an opportunity to post to one of your threads. I've felt badly for not posting after the loss of Attitude and then Nuts. And, while I am so sorry that you had to experience such loss in a short period of time, I am thrilled to see that you were able to bring another kitty into your home. Sirius is very handsome and he looks as though he has made himself right at home. I know how much love you have for cats and I am just so happy that Sirius is able to benefit from that. And, on the flip side, I am sure he is showering you with love and affection as well. There's nothing better than kitty lovin'. Well, okay, dog lovin' is pretty special too (I should know, I have 2 of my own monster pups)...
Dexter and Sirius look so precious together. I'm sure, in no time, they'll be snuggling up real close -- maybe once the weather cools and winter comes back around? I think they're a pretty good match. My cats don't mind my dogs, but they don't really spend too much time interacting with one another. Aside from my dog, Madeline's, mutually odd relationship with Finnegan, my cats do their own thing. They certainly don't avoid the dogs and they all get on well, but it would be a rare occasion indeed for me to see them cuddling with one another. I think Sirius and Dexter's relationship is sweet and I can't wait to see them bonding even more in the coming months. Congratulations, again, on your newest addition. And, once more, my sympathies on the loss of your other babies.
At first glance I thought Dexter was the one named Sirius (because he's a dog.)
